Smiling Technology

Thanks to latest software technology, the happiness is now measurable. Japan's Omron Corp. has the answer.

How? First the face is identified and then analyze the curves of lips and eye movement and other facial characteristics.

Ho do we tell a person's mood? We see the face and "analyze the curves of lips and eye movement and otherfacial characteristics" and we search our memories to find a match of predefined mood.

The difference is that the software has a database of 1 million faces, that means the software can be more accurate than human.
